Church & Society
What is Church and Society? It is the work area that serves those in the community who are in need. We have several areas that fall under Church and Society. They include the Bethlehem Center, Blood Drives, Habitat for Humanity, Thanksgiving Project with St. James UMC and support and participate with the children’s Angel Tree project. Helping people in places of hurt and suffering have long been the bedrock of the denomination’s call to service. The Salvation Army has roots in Methodism, as well as the structure of Alcoholics Anonymous.
