Bethel's Children's Ministries

Rotation Sunday School

Our Workshop Rotation Sunday School is geared for children ages K-5, focusing on one Bible story per month with children grouped by age rotating through each workshop (The Temple, Italy, Africa, Paris and Hollywood). All sixth graders meet together for the year preparing for confirmation in late spring.

Pre-School Sunday School

Children ages two through K-4 have instruction through story, craft, singing and Bible activities.
(Pagers are available to parents who are concerned about their child's comfort level.)

Nursery

A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers during Sunday School and all worship services (8:45 am - 12:30 pm). Pagers are available.

Regular Weekly Schedule

Sundays: 9:45 Sunday School Begins
10:55 WEE Church (3-5 year olds)& Children's Church (K-2). Both are staffed by parents. Nursery is staffed by Converse College students except during academic breaks when parents rotate nursery responsibility.

Wednesdays: 5:15 pm Children's Choir (K-6) 3rd Floor Choir Room
5:30-6:15 Family Supper Fellowship Hall
6:30 pm Clues Club (K-4th grade); Club 56 (5th & 6th grade)

Ministry Notes

• Beautiful books for young children and great books for older children are available in the Children's Ministry library (located in the hallway near Jana's office. There are also DVDs, toys and parent resources. Everything can be checked out and returned in 2 weeks
• POCKETS is a monthly devotional magazine published by Upper Room, designed especially for 6-12 year olds… a wonderful resource for you and your child to discuss God & his presence in your everyday life
• Children are encouraged to bring their Bible to Sunday School and church. They receive a piece of candy each time they bring their Bible as a reminder that God's Word is Sweet!!
