BIG DADDY'S BRAIN

As many of you know Sarah and I are adopting a child from Russia. We are excited and anxious to see how God will provide in this way. Many of you want to stay in the loop and want to know what exactly is going on in the process. So I figured I'd reconfigure the Big Daddy's Brain page to talk a little bit about our adoption process. Sarah and I hope to adopt a one year old or younger from Russia. We have set no stipulations on gender and feel like whether it's a boy or girl we will love it the same. The process will take about a year give or take a few months and will be filled with filling out paperwork, home studies, book reading, test taking and filling out paper work (yes I know I put that twice... that's how much paperwork will have to fill out... a lot). We are adopting through an agency called Christian World Adoption. That's the same organization that Matt and Keri Hastings got William through (if you want to read their story click here. CWA is a non-profit Christian adoption agency designed to handle every aspect of our adoption. If you'd like to find out more about CWA and about Russian adoptions you can click here.

Sarah and I are confident that God is in all of this and are excited to see what is in store. We also know that this process will be a roller coaster ride of emotions and an interesting experience. If you would like to check in daily and see what's going on with the adoption and what we're doing you can check or blog out at http://fromrussiawithlove2009.blogspot.com/ it will keep you in the know. Or feel free to talk to Sarah and I anytime.
